Challenge One - Contestant 10

I love Gothic fashions and Architecture so this challenge was so much fun to do! I am in my element here.  Having lived in Europe and in a medieval town has made me love and appreciate history and old architecture. For my Gothic vision the inspiration for this design was from beautiful Hackle feathers. I wanted to go with the blood red and night black colors for this design.  I was hoping to achieve a sexy, sultry, Dracula style (think Bram Stoker's Dracula movie) with a see through and sexy look. I used double red tulle for strength on the corset and the skirt, I also added a black satin panty for some modesty. The corset ties in the back with double black and red satin ribbon and the skirt as well.  The bottom of the skirt has chiffon pieces with black Hackle feathers and red Swarovski crystals that are removable. Snaps are hidden and the feather bottom can be worn off or on or as a cape. I  threw in a little  Victorian era with the hat.  I made the little top fascinator hat using black and red dupioni silk and embellished it with stripped Hackle feathers and Swarovski Crystals.  I added rolled double ribbon rossete in the back with some chiffon and ribbons . In the front, I embellished it with a jewelry detail. For the necklace, I used  black and red Swarovski crystals, bows, chiffon strip and made it into a chunky irregular shape.
