The idea to make a spring couture dress from ribbons was great! I like it so much! I used hot pink and white organza ribbons to create a fabulous design. At first, I made a lot of wonderful spring roses from hot pink ribbon, then I connected them together. The hem of the dress is decorated with white ribbon ruffles. The matching white ribbon sash looks great tied in the back.
Spring is a perfect season for the blossom of femininity, when you are able to give the freedom to your fantasy. My second challenge project was inspired by the first natural spring colors. The idea to create an ensemble of trench coat and jumpsuit intrigued me as they are not only super trendy but also very versatile. You can style them the way you want and vamp them up a little more with the right shoes and accessories. The trench coat is made with several types of materials. These materials are inclusive of like dark brown chiffon and beige and light green cottons. The jumpsuit is made of beige Italian wool and has a modern gold belt. The cute lime lace blouse relives the glorious golden days of spring and summer. It has a sweet bow in front and puffed, cuffed sleeves that bring it up to date. To finish the set I created a stylish leather purse and matching shoes.
My third challenge project was inspired by the beauty of azalea flowers. I love how certain colors can just brighten up the gloomiest day. So, I decided to use bright and at the same time romantic mix - purples and pinks. Hot pink polyester trench coat is embellished with bold purple stripe accents and an oversized ruffled collar. It's fully lined. Gorgeous little dress is made of gentle pink lace fabric and decorated with adorable lilac lace stripes and cute bow on the shoulder. To keep my model feeling toasty inside and out I added just the amount of retrospective nostalgia. I sourced lilac felt for the hat and hand-shaped each piece into a delightful little work of art.
